About Buddhi and Natasha

Buddhi and Natasha met in April 2011 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where Buddhi is currently working as a missionary. Natasha was on an 11 month/11 country mission trip called the World Race, and Malaysia was the 4th country on the route. Even though they only met one time for a brief ‘hello,’ they started communicating online for the remaining 7 months of Natasha’s mission trip. God gave them instant peace in their relationship and they realized that even though they were from completely opposite sides of the earth they had a lot in common. Most importantly was their shared love for God and his people, specifically children. A few months after the World Race had ended, Natasha flew to Malaysia to spend a few weeks with Buddhi and his family and friends. Their time together proved to be God-ordained as there was instant friendship and comfort.  As their love for each other grew over the months, God continued to open doors concerning their much desired ministry with children. Natasha applied to be a teacher through a non-profit organization based in Nepal called Tiny Hands International, but got even more than she bargained for. The night Buddhi and Natasha got engaged, the president of the organization emailed her and asked her and Buddhi to consider being ‘house parents’ at one of their children’s homes. Two dreams came true in one night. Buddhi and Natasha are currently planning their wedding which will be in Kathmandu, Nepal in October 2012. They are also in the beginning stages of building support for their future children’s home in Nepal.

  2. Love it. I’m so excited for you Tye! And I am so glad I got to be on that 11 month/11 country World Race with you. Seriously girl, you’re amazing. I’m still calling you Wendy, Mother of lost children – I said that in Cambodia and I’m sticking with it. 🙂

  3. I am very happy for the both of you and I pray that God will make the differences both of you share to be the bond that will strengthen and forge a life long journey to be cherished and His Glory and Love a reflection of your lives together.

I would like to share a verse that is very personal to Jade and I and it was our theme verse in our wedding. Matt 6:21: For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Thank you for sharing this journey with us.
